"The package ended up in the wrong place..."
In 4 out of 5 times, they just dropped the box off in the wrong building or left it outside instead of using the intercom. If you're cool with munching on food that’s been left out, these folks are for you. Otherwise, I'd say hard pass.

"Old Frozen Food and Poor Support!"
So, my profile says I can cook and speak English, but they sent me instructions in French. A week later, they assured me the meat was still safe to eat, even though one package claimed it was only good for five days post-delivery. Customer service didn’t do squat to make it right, and when I inquired about how long they keep their frozen items, it took nearly a month for them to respond, saying it should be fine for six months. The meat I received in February was actually dated December 1, 2020. Honestly, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and they won’t issue refunds, even when they’re sending out frozen food that’s past its date. They made errors but refuse to own up to them.
Seriously, don’t bother with this service unless you want to deal with old frozen food and terrible customer support.

"Beware of This Company"
Beware of This Company - Cookit Cancels Referral Credits to Dodge Payouts!
Cookit offers a pretty solid product. Their recipes are tasty, and they’ve got a nice range of pantry items. I even told a bunch of my friends about the Cookit service. After a few of them signed up, I began using Cookit's referral code. I shared it with some pals and didn’t think much of it. Turns out, my code went viral! My friends not only signed up but also spread the word about my code. Before I knew it, I had racked up $640 in credits and a bunch of stars. I connected the dots and realized this was all thanks to sharing my referral code. I was pumped! I saw that folks were using my code, and Cookit's referral program seemed like it could really pay off. I went all in, sending my code to more friends and posting it on a couple of websites. A few weeks later, Cookit decided that this wasn’t cool and took away my credits.
While I get that Cookit can set their own rules, including one that says you can’t share codes on public sites, yanking my credits feels pretty unfair. I was doing exactly what Cookit wanted—promoting their service by sharing my referral code with friends. If they had a real problem with public sharing, they should’ve mentioned it when they gave out the codes. Cookit should also be canceling the hundreds of other customer codes floating around online. It was only after I had built up over $1000 and started using those credits that this 'issue' suddenly popped up on their radar. This is just bad business. Shame on you, Cookit!

"They’re putting my family at risk"
I used to order from them all the time, like every week. But the last experience was just plain disrespectful. They didn’t show up on Sunday like they usually do. So, first thing Monday morning, I shot them an email about the missing order. No reply. It wasn’t until 10:00 PM on Monday that the doorbell finally rang, and there was a package waiting outside. I opened it up, expecting something fresh. But nope. It was from the day before, the ice had melted, and the salmon looked like it could poison me if I tried cooking it. Seriously, how do they think that’s okay to send out??? When I tried calling, I got a message saying they were in a crisis and the phone lines were down.

"AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS"
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They keep your debit or credit card info, and you might get charged even after you cancel.
On December 26, 2018, I canceled my subscription and got a confirmation email. Then, in March 2019, my debit card was charged out of the blue for an order. I reached out to them to figure out what went wrong and provided the cancellation email. Turns out, they still had my card info on file, which is super concerning. You’d think they’d delete that if you’re no longer a customer. What’s wild is that I never saved my card details on their site when I was a member, yet I still got hit with a charge. The only response I received was a message saying, 'your refund is processed.' No explanation, no apology, nada. I’d never suggest anyone sign up with this company.
